What this covers
These terms apply when the MLS / RESO connector is enabled on your TierLogic instance. They supplement the Real Estate Product Terms and the main Terms of Service.
MLS data is licensed, not bought, and the licence is yours, not ours. Almost everything below follows from that one fact.
Our position in the licence chain
There isn't one. You obtain your own MLS feed, in your own name, through your own broker of record and your own aggregator account. We never obtain the feed, hold the licence, pay the data fee, resell the data, or store MLS records. If you ask us to obtain access on your behalf, the answer is no. That is not a policy we can waive, because it is the product model.
What we commit to
These are properties of how the connector is built, so they are ours to assert:
| No redistribution | The feed is read with your credentials and returned to your own workspace. It reaches no other tenant and no third party. Credentials are tenant-scoped and encrypted on your own instance. |
|---|---|
| No retention, no caching | Pass-through. The listing watch stores one timestamp and your own search criteria, never a listing record, never a member record. |
| No resale, no fee | Your subscription, your bill, direct with the aggregator. We take no cut and are never a party to the data licence. |
| Tenant isolation | One tenant's credential cannot reach another tenant's data. Verified by attempted access, not by inspection, for every connector. |
| Termination | Disconnecting zeroizes the stored credential and the connector stops working immediately. No listing data was ever kept, so there is nothing to purge. |
What remains yours
Your MLS agreement carries obligations we cannot see and must not guess at. You are responsible for:
- Being, or operating under, the licensed broker who holds the feed. We confirm this at onboarding and do not assume it.
- Your feed type: IDX, VOW, or a broker/back-office feed. Each carries different permissions.
- Display rules and attribution: any attribution, disclaimer or compensation notice your MLS requires wherever data is shown.
- Permitted audience: whether your data may be shown to consumers, or only to your brokerage's own staff.
- Retention limits in your agreement. We hold nothing, which satisfies any limit, but you may still have to attest to it.

AI access to MLS data
AI agents may access and process MLS data where they do so through a licensed broker. That is exactly the posture this product is built for: the data is read with your credentials, inside your instance, and answered back to you. It is not a general licence for AI to touch MLS data in any configuration.
Listing alerts
Price and status alerts depend on fields a given MLS may or may not populate. They ship switched off and are enabled only after a live feed confirms the fields exist. No alert capability is promised to any customer before that confirmation.
Changes
Material changes are notified in advance. Continuing to use the connector after a change takes effect is acceptance of it.
